The Cape May County Board of Commissioners plans to post audio recordings of its meetings. According to the Press of Atlantic City, people can listen to the meetings live, as approved by the commissioners recently. If you miss a meeting, a recording will be posted to the county website, but not until the next meeting, when the minutes of the previous meeting are adopted. The county is already recording the meetings for its records, so officials say it will not be much additional effort to post the recordings, which they contend will allow county residents and visitors better insight into the operations of county government.
