Players from the youth soccer club ASEC Mimosas, along with their coaches and chaperones, weathered the rain and gathered on the Ocean City beach Wednesday to participate in a lifeguard camp hosted by the Beach Patrol as part of the two-week program. Players had the opportunity to learn how to paddleboard, ride personal watercraft and take part in a surf dash, simulating how lifeguards run into the water during a rescue. Following the camp, the youth visited businesses on the Boardwalk.
