Probe Into Deadly AC Overdose

The investigation continues into a deadly overdose in Atlantic City. Friday morning, police were dispatched to the corner of New York and Adriatic Avenues for a report of an unconscious male. The officers arrived to find the unconscious male lying on a concrete bench near the sidewalk in the 300 block of north New York Avenue.
After checking for vital signs, the officers immediately began CPR until the Atlantic City Fire Department and Emergency Medical personnel arrived on scene and took over CPR procedures. The male, 60 of Atlantic City, was ultimately pronounced deceased on scene. Based on the preliminary information, this incident is being investigated as an apparent drug overdose.
