Authorities have now identified a man and woman killed in an apparent murder suicide in Little Egg Harbor Township. The Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office says 52 year old Carl Schulz Jr. shot his ex-wife, 49 year old Kimberly Hoffman early Saturday in her residence on Whitemarsh Court. Schulz later died in the hospital from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. A 911 call came into police from a caller saying she thought someone was breaking into her apartment. Police arrived on the scene and found the two inside.
