The Atlantic City Police Department’s Violent Crimes Unit is investigating a shooting incident that wounded a male.
On July 16, 2023, at 11:21 PM, patrol officers responded to the 1000 block of Brigantine Boulevard for a ShotSpotter alert. Arriving officers located evidence of gunfire. Shortly after, the victim, 19, of Atlantic City, arrived at the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Division, to be treated for a non-life-threatening injury.
