Galloway Township Council appointed the law office of Brian D. Huen of Northfield as its municipal tax lien attorney. The township put out a request for proposals for a tax attorney because it has a large number of foreclosed properties, Mayor Anthony Coppola said.Right now the municipality is bearing the burden of unpaid taxes, however, the problem is the township is still responsible for paying the school and county taxes on that property, Coppola said.
