The death toll has risen after an explosion in Buena on Thursday reduced a home to rubble. According WPVI, a third body was recovered at the scene, while at least one more person remains unaccounted for. A 1-year-old girl and a 16-year-old girl were among those injured in the explosion. Both victims were flown to St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia. In addition, authorities say a 2-year-old boy, a 3-year-old girl and two men ages 52 and 73 were also in the house.
The identities of the bodies found have not been released. The explosion happened around 10:35 a.m. Thursday on the 300 block of Northwest Boulevard in the Landisville section.
