Members of a historic church in the city’s Chelsea neighborhood do not want a cannabis dispensary nearby, but one may be on the way just the same. The Press of Atlantic City reports parishoners attended a hearing on whether to approve a site plan for a cannabis sales business at 2834 Atlantic Ave., on the ground floor of Brighton Towers. But it was not enough to sway any votes when the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority approved the site plan last Tuesday. Baking Bad Group Inc. has received a conditional license approval from the New Jersey Cannabis Regulatory Commission.
