CRDA Votes To Allow Open Containers In AC

A COVID-era rule allowing open containers of alcohol within the city’s Tourism District may be here to stay. According to the Press of Atlantic City, the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority Board of Directors last week unanimously approved a resolution reaffirming a 2020 vote allowing licensed bars and restaurants to sell to-go drinks in plastic cups.
The CRDA moved to reaffirm the rule because it maintains jurisdiction over the Tourism District.
