Some cats and a dog are receiving much needed medical attention now after a Galloway Township woman was indicted on 22 counts of animal cruelty Tuesday, the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office said.Lourdes Martinez, 34, was arrested July 22 after police searched her home following numerous complaints from neighbors about animals living there in unsanitary conditions.Police found 21 cats, all of which were in need of medical attention. All of the cats were evaluated by a veterinarian, who determined they were suffering from respiratory illnesses and eye infections, police said.
