Atlantic County officials say a detour is planned in Egg Harbor Township and Northfield this week. The detour will be in place along the eastbound lane of Old Egg Harbor/Old Tilton Road between Hingston Avenue in Egg Harbor Township and Route 9 in Northfield, officials said in a news release. The traffic change will be in effect between 7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. today and Wednesday. Westbound traffic won’t be affected, the county said. Eastbound drivers should prepare to follow detour signs and plan accordingly.
