In Upper Township by the end of the month, the B.L. England plant is expected to be gone, with a demolition set for 10 a.m. Oct. 26. Before that, the developers plan an event at the site from 10 a.m. to noon this Saturday. The Beesleys Point Development Group announced plans for a “Say Goodbye to the Stack” event to honor what the group described as the infamous smokestack, with a chance for visitors to make their mark on it with their own markers or spray paint. They also invite visitors to take selfies with the tower.
