A Lacey Township contractor has admitted that he took money from a client without completing work to their house, and spent about $40,000 of that gambling in Atlantic City. According to the Press of Atlantic City, 50 year old Jeffrey Crawford pleaded guilty to theft by failure to make required disposition of property. Prosecutors are asking for three years in prison and that Crawford make $70,000 in restitution when he is sentenced Jan. 12 th.
