On October 19 just before 5pm, Atlantic City Police received information regarding the location of 22 year old Jose Lugo of Atlantic City, who had an active warrant for his arrest issued by the Atlantic County Sheriff’s Office. Detectives located Lugo 1200 block of the Boardwalk. As the detectives observed Lugo, they saw another man, 25 year old Scott Snowden of Atlantic City, actively weighing marijuana on a scale as the two sat together.
The detectives converged on the pair and arrested both. Lugo was found in possession of a loaded handgun, 24 individual bags of heroin and 10 grams of methamphetamine. Snowden was found in possession of 68 grams of marijuana and paraphernalia used in the distribution of narcotics.
