A fire damaged a section of the Boardwalk near Resorts Casino Hotel on Wednesday. Just before 4pm, firefighters responded to a two-alarm fire on the Boardwalk between LandShark Bar & Grill and the marquee of Resorts. The Press of Atlantic City reports the fire spread to the casino’s exterior wall and part of the marquee. Minimal smoke extended into the building, causing evacuations of the businesses closest to the Boardwalk entrance. The casino floor remained open.
