Early Morning Underground Leak Caused Heating Problems At Stanley Holmes Village

An underground leak that flooded the courtyard of Stanley Holmes Village had housing authority crews busy Friday morning, while residents at another community, Altman Terrace, say they have been without hot water for nearly a week. According to the Press of Atlantic City, the leak was so severe that water began pooling above ground, flooding part of an interior courtyard near Village III and causing problems with the heat system. Meanwhile, hot water has not been available at Altman Terrace since Monday, according to Angela Torres, head of the community’s tenant association.
