In a May’s Landing news release the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office will use a newly purchased van to respond to crisis situations, officials said Tuesday. The van will help the Crisis Negotiation Team, as well as be available for special operation needs, the Prosecutor’s Office said.The vehicle was purchased through a U.S. Department of Homeland Security grant, the Prosecutor’s Office said. The van is equipped with internet, computers and other forms of technology to help talk down people in crisis or in barricaded incidents, the Prosecutor’s Office said.
