The Middle Township Committee this week formally refused local support for two companies seeking to open cannabis retail operations in the township. By resolution the governing body refused support for Ganja Babe LLC and Garden State Marijuana LLC. According to the Cape May County Herald, Both Ganja Babe and Garden State Marijuana submitted applications, which were reviewed by a committee established for that purpose. With the committee’s recommendations in hand the governing body officially said no to both applicants. One potential spot for a cannabis retailer remains open under the township’s ordinance.
