An open mic night in Egg Harbor Township was shut down Friday, and in the process, five people were arrested and 57 pounds of drugs and three guns were seized. Under arrest are 20 year old Michael Garofalo Jr., 22 year old Brandon Moore, also, 21 year old Daegan Leithmann, 21 year old lJonathan Vega, and 30 year old Melissa Martella; the latter three are all from Egg Harbor Township, say police. On Friday, township police department’s Criminal Investigation Division, along with the Atlantic County SWAT team, executed a search warrant for a party being held at an illegal warehouse venue, located in the Farmington section of the township. The festivities had a cover charge, live DJ, music entertainment and alcoholic beverages for sale.
