Stockton University Hockey Coach Banned From Skate Zone

Stockton University’s head hockey coach was fired earlier this month after being barred from entering the Skate Zone for holding an unauthorized meeting at the facility. According to the Press of Atlantic City, city officials this week said Alan Rhoads was banned for not following rules and regulations pertaining to its use. Rhoads believes he is being “targeted” for being outspoken on the potential closure of the facility. The ban also led to Rhoads’ dismissal from coaching men’s hockey as of Nov. 14, according to a Stockton spokesperson. Rhoads said he was fired because the ban impedes his ability to coach.
