AC Electric Reopening Cape May Courtesy Center

Atlantic City Electric announced its Cape May Courtesy Center will reopen Thursday, two days after its workers voted to end a monthlong strike. According to the Press of Atlantic City, IBEW Local 210, which represents about 400 workers for the power company, reached an agreement with Atlantic City Electric last week to end its strike. A vote Tuesday to ratify the new contract was approved, and workers returned to their jobs Wednesday. The courtesy center had been closed since the beginning of November when the strike began.
