An Egg Harbor Township man who was charged in a daylong standoff with police last week was released from jail and is scheduled to go before a judge later this month. 42 year old Joseph Dill was arrested at his Tremont Avenue home Friday after allegedly attempting to break into a neighbor’s home before firing a gun from his property. Police said last week he then retreated into the home for hours until surrendering. Dill was released on a summons, state court officials said Monday. He is scheduled to appear before Judge Marian R. Ragusa on Dec. 20th.
