The Hamilton Township Committee approved a pay-per-run incentive program for firefighters during its meeting Dec. 19. The amount to be paid per run will be determined during the committee’s reorganization meeting 6 p.m. Jan. 2.Only one member of the community, former Mayor John Percy, spoke during the public hearing on the plan. Percy gave the program a thumbs up. As part of the program, positions like chief, assistant chief, captain, lieutenant and security officers will receive a yearly stipend.
