Middle Township Police announced the official opening of the new Rio Grande substation on Friday, Dec. 22, reinforcing the department’s commitment to ensuring the safety of the community. The Cape May County Herald reports the new substation is located at the County Commons, 3801 Route 9 south, Unit 7, adjacent to the Cape Square Entertainment Center. This positioning allows the department to better serve the southern portion of Middle Township, enhancing its responsiveness to the needs of the community, according to a statement.
