NJEDC Set To Allocate $19 Million For AC Economic Projects

The New Jersey Economic Development Authority is set to allocate $19.6 million for economic projects in Atlantic City, aiming to rejuvenate both neighborhoods and the city’s downtown. According to the Press of Atlantic City, eligible projects must not only address challenges created by the pandemic but also contribute to the broader goal of revitalizing Atlantic City. Among those projects is renovation or restoration of vacant buildings and new construction aimed at improving the vitality of the city’s downtown. Also, projects that create jobs or office space, address food insecurity, or further the city’s clean and safe initiatives are encouraged.
