Report: No Guns Recovered So Far This Year At Atlantic City International Airport

No weapons have been uncovered at Atlantic City International Airport this year, the U.S. Transportation Security Administration said. Meantime, reports the Press of Atlantic City, Philadelphia International Airport broke its record Tuesday after TSA officials uncovered the 45th firearm this year at one of the airport’s checkpoints, when a man from Newark, Delaware, tried to board a flight with a .357 handgun. After an X-ray at one of the security checkpoints alerted TSA workers to the man’s backpack, police confiscated the unloaded weapon and charged him with a weapons offense.
