Ventnor Receives Grant For Eco Park Efforts

Ventnor received a $200,000 grant from the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation to assess the project site for the Ventnor West Eco Park and create its preliminary design. According to the Press of Atlantic City, the park will transform Ventnor West, a 150-acre tract of waterfront land owned by the city, into a living shoreline. The project is intended to protect the area’s ecosystem from erosion and environmental degradation, in addition to providing the area with critical coastal infrastructure.
