Man Indicted In Connection With Human Trafficking Case

A grand jury indicts a man arrested in Atlantic City in connection with human trafficking charges. The Press of Atlantic City reports 40 year old Nieem Johnson, is also charged with conspiracy, promoting organized street crime, criminal restraint, engaging in prostitution with a minor and sexual assault, among other counts. Authorities say the human trafficking network in question operated in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, officials said, until one of the victims escaped from a hotel in Burlington County where she had allegedly been held captive and sex trafficked.
