In April 2021, the North Wildwood Planning Board approved plans to dramatically reshape the city’s bayfront, with new buildings, sweeping renovations to existing buildings and adding a new top floor to Marina Bay Towers on New York Avenue.
According to the Press of Atlantic City, there had been multiple reports of leaks throughout the building, where a dwindling number of seniors still lived full time, and no reason to believe that those issues had been addressed in the meantime.
With the approvals in place, there has been no sign of work on the property, with no indication that work on the new structures is likely to begin soon.
