A yearlong detour is scheduled to go into effect today on Somers Point-Mays Landing Road between Steelmanville Road and English Creek Avenue for reconstruction of a bridge, Atlantic County said.The detour was originally scheduled to begin Monday but was postponed, the county said Tuesday in a news release.
