Sea Isle City Council has adopted a five-year capital spending plan calling for $47 million in projects and acquisitions from 2024 through 2028. The plan also calls for $5.8 million in projects for the Water and Sewer Utility. The Cape May County Herald reports the largest component of the plan, approved at the council’s Jan. 9 meeting, has $22.5 million earmarked for roads and for drainage projects. There is $9.8 million for beach, bay and promenade work, $7.5 million for facilities and buildings, and $6.7 million for equipment and vehicles. The remaining funding, about $900,000, is for the marina, operations and office equipment.
