According to the Press of Atlantic City a judge on Tuesday ordered the Atlantic City Housing Authority to provide a 25% rent rebate to tenants in a lawsuit over lack of heat and hot water, gas leaks and other health violations at the 420-unit Stanley Holmes Village.The rebate will be on rent paid since the start of the lawsuit in November 2022, said Superior Court Judge John C. Porto who indicated a more substantial settlement may be in the future.
