New Atlantic County Sheriff Joe O’Donoghue has appointed his son Robert O’Donoghue to be his chief sheriff’s officer. Robert O’Donoghue is a former Egg Harbor Township police officer with more than 20 years of experience and is the assistant commander of the Atlantic County SWAT Team, Joe O’Donoghue said Wednesday.
