In Ocean City a four- to six-week-old male gray seal pup that made its way from the bay at West Avenue down 42nd Street was taken to the Marine Mammal Stranding Center on Wednesday.This is the second seal this season the Brigantine-based center said it has rescued from a road. In A news Release the center sees at least one case of seal stranding in an unusual location every seal season, but it has had “MANY cases over the past 46 years of seals.
