Absecon Police are trying to track down the driver involved in a fatal hit-and-run on the White Horse Pike on Saturday night.
It happened shortly after 9 p.m. in the westbound lane of U.S. Route 30 near the Executive Lodge motel, just east of Turner Avenue. The driver failed to stop and fled, leaving the victim without aid, police said. The unidentified victim was pronounced dead the scene, reports the Press of Atlantic City. Police are looking for a vehicle with heavy front-end damage, consistent with having hit a pedestrian.
