The Walgreens pharmacy at 505 Black Horse Pike is expected to close Feb. 20. According to the Press of Atlantic City, the chain, which operates more than 9,000 pharmacies in the U.S., is closing the stores to cut costs and save about $800 million.
Signs at the Pleasantville store and an employee who answered the phone confirmed the Feb. 20 closing date. Unless otherwise requested, prescriptions will be transferred to the Walgreens at 855 N. Main St.
