A Wildwood man is under arrest after he barricaded himself in his family’s home and threatened law enforcement. According to the Press of Atlantic City, officers responded to a home in the 500 block of West 26th Avenue for a family dispute reported by the state Division of Child Protection & Permanency. The division had attempted to serve a no-contact order on 47 year old Rakesh Patel who, despite receiving verbal commands from officers, continued to barricade the home and verbally threatened to harm the officers. After several hours of negotiating, the SWAT team entered the home and secured Patel. He faces a slew of charges.
