The Atlantic City Housing Authority board passed a resolution to award a new $150,000 contract to Jerry Volpe’s Governance & Fiscal Affairs LLC, after tabling the resolution at its February meeting. According to the Press of Atlantic City,
Volpe’s contract was not on the agenda for Thursday night’s meeting, but it was voted on and passed after executive session.
In February, the board tabled Volpe’s new contract after City Councilman Kaleem Shabazz expressed concern about reports of workers not being able to get the supplies they need to make repairs through the purchasing and procurement process.
