Delaware Man Indicted In Deadly Crash In Atlantic County

63 year old Kevin Wilson from New Castle, Delaware has been indicted by an Atlantic County Grand Jury for Aggravated Manslaughter after an investigation revealed that he struck a vehicle resulting in the death of a 36-year-old Vineland
woman on Saturday, June 24, 2023.
The defendant was indicted for first-degree Aggravated Manslaughter by recklessly causing the
death of Ada Roman under circumstances manifesting extreme indifference to human life.
On June 24, 2023, at 12:54 A.M., Roman was killed when the vehicle she was a passenger in
was struck by a vehicle driven by Wilson as they entered the Route 54 and Route 40 intersection
in Buena Vista Township. Subsequent investigation revealed Wilson was in a state of intoxication
that impaired his ability to operate a motor vehicle. It was also determined that Wilson was
recklessly speeding and disregarded a red traffic signal when he struck Roman’s vehicle.
