The Atlantic City Police Department arrested a man for first degree drug offenses while conducting surveillance.
On March 8, 2024, at 4:45 PM, Officer Jennifer Sanchez was conducting surveillance in the area of the 1500 block of Atlantic Avenue. She observed 44 year old Leroy Clark of Ewing engage in a narcotic transaction with an unidentified male. Officers contacted Clark who was arrested. Clark was found in possession of more than eight ounces of marijuana.
A continuing investigation led to court authorized search warrants being executed on Clarkâs vehicle and hotel room. During the search, the officers recovered nearly 10 ounces of cocaine, 420 individual bags of heroin, and items used in the distribution of narcotics.
