In Galloway Township police warned residents Thursday to be on the lookout for ATM skimming devices after two were discovered inside a township Wawa. Police said an ATM mechanic discovered the devices when he arrived at the Wawa at 275 W. White Horse Pike to perform routine maintenance on the machines. A “skimmer” is a card reader that is designed to look like it’s part of the ATM. The device collects card numbers and PINs, which are then turned into counterfeit cards.
