A Brigantine man who allegedly struck his girlfriend in the head with a glass vase at the Golden Nugget in Atlantic City before cleaning up the scene was ordered held in jail Monday until trial. Kevin Turkvan, 31, is charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault, domestic violence aggravated assault, aggravated assault with a weapon, terroristic threats, criminal restraint, tampering with evidence and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.
