Going hi-tech at parking meters in Cape May according to City Manager Paul Dietrich said in a recent interview. He said the digital option to pay for parking is more convenient for most visitors. As parking charges took effect at the start of April, more areas of town will not have a meter or a kiosk, just a number for someone paying digitally.Parking meters remain on the beach side of Beach Avenue, but visitors on the other side of that street will need to rely on the ParkMobile app this summer, and the kiosks on the Washington Street Mall will not be back this summer.
