A former South Jersey sportscaster turned teacher charged with inappropriately touching students at Atlantic County Institute of Technology was sentenced to two years’ probation. According to the Press of Atlantic City, 53 year old
Pete Thompson of Galloway Township, was originally charged with endangering the welfare of a child, criminal sexual contact and official misconduct. Thompson was charged after an October 2022 investigation found photographs of ACIT students on his phone and statements from five victims, ages 14 to 17, claiming he touched them inappropriately, according to an affidavit of probable cause.
