Wednesday afternoon, Galloway Township Police received a call regarding a deceased male in a
residence on the 400 block of South Odessa Avenue. Upon police arrival, they located the
victim, Shawn P. O’Neill Jr., 42, of Galloway Township inside the residence with several
wounds to his body. The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office’s Major Crimes Unit responded to
the scene. The cause and manner of death are pending an autopsy.
