A group of residents in the Chelsea Heights neighborhood asked the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority to just say no to expanding the city’s weed-friendly green zone.With several new cannabis businesses opening up and more in the works, city officials say the new industry is just getting started and will mean jobs, revenue and new life for formerly abandoned buildings.the Press of Atlantic City also says New Jersey voters said yes to marijuana legalization in 2020, with the first taxed, legal sales taking place about two years ago.
