On Thursday, 33 year old Robert Caro-Green and 31 year old Lenardo Caro,
both from Atlantic City, were each sentenced to a six-year term in New Jersey State
Prison for unlawfully possessing handguns without permits.
On September 24, 2021, members Atlantic City Special Investigations Unit and Atlantic City
SWAT executed a no-knock search warrant at 1536 Mediterranean Avenue. Upon arriving at the
location, Atlantic City SWAT personnel immediately encountered Robert Caro-Green and
Lenardo Caro outside of the residence attempting to enter a parked vehicle. Upon searching the
residence, law enforcement located one black Polymer 80 ghost gun (no serial number) loaded
with ammunition under the living room sofa and a number of other weapons in the home. They also found a safe containing a large amount of marijuana in a bedroom closet.
