The city of Wildwood’s Board of Commissioners may consider reducing Park Boulevard from four lanes to two, along with bike lanes and a turning lane in the center, with the aim of improving safety. According to the Press of Atlantic City often described as a “road diet,” similar changes have been attempted in other communities. In discussing plans at the Wednesday evening meeting, commissioners said the first vote on the idea could come after the summer, and it will be longer before any changes are made to the road.The commissioners are making it clear nothing is set in stone.
