Mayor Jay Gillian plans to discuss measures to protect public safety on the Boardwalk after a chaotic Memorial Day weekend, which included a stabbing that sent a teen to the hospital.At a news conference planned for 4 p.m. Thursday at the Music Pier at Moorlyn Terrace and the Boardwalk, police Chief Bill Campbell, Cape May County Commissioner Director Leonard Desiderio and state Assemblyman Antwan McClellan, an Ocean City resident, are set to speak, the city said Wednesday.
