Cape May County Superior Court has approved the merger of Cape Regional Health System and Cooper University Health Care. According to an article in the Press of Atlantic City the deal was first announced in December 2022, and a definitive agreement was executed in April of last year.Since then, both health systems have spent the past year and a half working through the approval process, according to a statement from Cooper.
